At the age of 90, William Scheiner, the Canadian actor best known for his role in the movie Star Trek, became the world's oldest man to orbit space.
According to a report in the Dawn newspaper by the British news agency 'Reuters', William Shatner flew a spacecraft in the rocket ship of Blue Origin, the company of Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon.
He was one of four passengers who flew into space in a white fully automatic 60-foot-long new Shepard spacecraft that lasted 10 minutes and 17 seconds, 20 miles from the town of Van Horn in Texas. 32 km from the Blue Origin launch site.
The space shuttle crew returned to the Texas desert by capsule parachute from the Suburban Buttle flight, William Shatner stepped out cautiously, and the others celebrated their return to space.
Jeff Bezos was there and met William Shatner, he was wearing a blue flight suit and cape and the company name was written in white letters on one sleeve of his shirt.
"What you have given me is a wonderful experience that I can only imagine," William Shatter told Jeff Bezos.
"I am just getting emotional about what has just happened," he said.
The four astronauts experienced a few minutes of weightlessness and traveled 65.8 miles (106 kilometers) above the globally recognized limit of space.
This was Jeff Bezos' second space travel flight from Blue Origin, the company that made its first spaceflight in July.
